The festival presents the first natively olfacto-musical compositions, commissioned for Osmodrama: „Neon Lizard“ and „Find Warm Wind Farm“ by Stephen Crowe in collaboration with Wolfgang Georgsdorf (scent sequences).

Stephen Crowe is an English composer of operas and experimental chamber music. Also plays free improv, and sings hardcore covers of Barbra Streisand songs.
He studied Fine Art at John Moores, and Composition at Goldsmiths. Notable performances of his music have been at The National Portrait Gallery, Kings Place, Camden Arts Centre, Courtauld Gallery, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Riverside Studios, Tate Britain and The Vortex. He’s currently working on a Wild West opera called ‘Pterodactyls of Ptexas’.

Aisha Orazbayeva is a Kazakh-born London-based violinist with an interest in filmmaking. She has released two critically acclaimed solo albums on Nonclassical and PRAH recordings featuring her own compositions, and has performed internationally in venues such as New York’s Carnegie Hall. Recent releases include vinyl EP Seeping Through with Tim Etchells on PRAH and Scelsi‘s Duo vinyl EP for violin and cello on SN variations. Aisha regularly performs with ensembles Plus-Minus and Apartment House. Her music video for Leo Abrahams’ Steal Time single was recently premiered on Clash Music magazine.

Samuel Stoll studied french horn and natural horn at the Musikhochschule Lucerne and the Hochschule der Künste Bern in the classes of Jakob Hefti and Thomas Müller. Since finishing his studies in experimental music theatre in the class of Georges Aperghis at the Hochschule der Künste Bern, Samuel Stoll has worked as a freelance musician and performer. He is a member of jetpack bellerive, ensemble apparat, Ensemblekollektive Berlin, retro disco, Ensemble Tzara, and the Ensemble Linea. As a performer and musician he has been invited for productions at the Stadttheater Bremerhaven and the Staatstheater Karlsruhe. He plays a microtonal french horn, which was developed and built by the Hochschule der Künste Bern and Konrad Burri. From 2015 till his retirement in 2045 he will commission every year a atleast one new horn solo piece. So far he commissioned Evan Johnson, Michael Baldwin, Max Murray, Ann Cleare, Timothy McCormack, Nicolas Tzortis, Ray Evanoff, Clara Ianotta, Turgut Ercetin, Cassandra Miller, Aaron Einbond and Steve Takasugi.

Tom Jackson is a clarinettist and saxophonist active in London and Brussels, largely dedicated to the fields of contemporary classical music and free improvisation. He maintains an extensive and eclectic performance schedule and has performed throughout Europe, Australia and Hong Kong.
Jackson has performed as principal clarinet with many orchestras including New London Sinfonia, British Sinfonietta and National Chamber Orchestra of Wales. He has worked with various contemporary chamber groups such as Apartment House, Lontano, Plus-Minus and Cardiff New Music Collective, which he co-founded. He is an active session musician, playing for albums and live shows. He has recently completed a PhD at Canterbury Christ Church University entitled “A practice-based investigation of the clarinet through free improvisation”.

Als Performer und Musiker war er als Gast bei Theater Produktionen am Stadttheater Bremerhaven und dem Staatstheater Karlsruhe zu sehen. Er spielt auf einem mikrotonalen Horn welches in Zusammenarbeit der Hochschule der Künste Bern und Konrad Burri entstanden ist.
Ab 2015 folgte er seinem Plan jedes Jahr bis zum Ruhestand im Jahr 2045 mindestens ein Werk für Horn Solo in Auftrag zu geben. So sind bereits Werke von Evan Johnson und Michael Baldwin Uraufgeführt worden. Des weiteren Kompositionen von Max Murray, Ann Cleare, Timothy McCormack, Nikolas Tzortzis, Clara Ianotta, Ray Evanoff, Cassandra Miller, Aaron Einbond, Turgut Ercetin und Steven Takasugi.

Als erster Klarinettist ist Jackson mit Orchestern, wie dem New London Sinfonia, British Sinfonietta und National Chamber Orchestra of Wales aufgetreten. Er hat in verschiedenen Kammermusik Ensembles, wie dem Apartment House, Lontano, Plus-Minus and Cardiff New Music Collective, welches er mitgegründet hat, gespielt. Er ist aktiver Sessionmusiker und spielt für Albenaufzeichnungen und Konzerte. Er hat kürzlich seine Promotion an der Canterbury Christ Church University mit dem Titel “A practice-based investigation of the clarinet through free improvisation” abgeschlossen.
